Thu, 28th Mar 2024

Gallagher, the internationally recognised security and animal management technology solutions provider, has appointed HiBob as its people management system for its 1,300-strong global workforce.

HiBob's platform, Bob, has been chosen for its ability to provide access to comprehensive personnel data beyond mere administrative information, enhancing decision-making capabilities within the company. This move represents a significant upgrade from Gallagher's old manual systems to HiBob's state-of-the-art digital HR platform.

Originally founded in 1938 in Hamilton, New Zealand, Gallagher has significantly expanded its operations and is now active in 160 countries. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to "protect what matters most" - a promise that extends to its worldwide team of employees.

The adoption of Bob is aimed at accelerating accessibility to essential people data and ultimately increasing productivity. Sam Bester, Group People Operations Lead at Gallagher said, "People automation goes beyond simplifying tasks; it assists leaders and organisations in generating greater value. This not only increases workplace satisfaction but also aligns with smart business practices, ultimately resulting in improved productivity."

Gallagher plans to utilise the platform's core HR technology, compensation and talent modules. These features offer an engaging and accessible information system for both employees and managers, aiming to streamline operations with a single sign-on solution. On a managerial level, the platform will provide a comprehensive view of teams which will aid in decision-making and leadership.

On why Gallagher opted for Bob, Bester concluded, "Bob caught our attention with its colourful, warm and user-friendly interface that practically navigates itself. We were pleased that HiBob valued our feedback and made improvements based on it. The support is noticeably excellent, making it feel like a top-tier partnership between two global performers that heralds great things are yet to come."

Ronni Zehavi, CEO at HiBob responded, "Many companies struggle with outdated, manual processes that lack the necessary information to understand employees' needs, especially in multinational or multi-site organisations. We’re so happy that the people at Gallagher found in Bob a centralised solution which meets all their requirements. We are beyond delighted to be chosen as their HR tech partner and are eager to continue helping them experience the positive impact of a people-centric HR platform."
