Hands-on review: Rapoo V20 RGB Optical Gaming Mouse
Fri, 18th Sep 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Left hand users shouldn't bother reading on. This is a serious mouse for those with right hand brains.

The V20 is a stand alone mouse; it's corded with a standard USB plug and an awesome cable length of just off two metres. The cable is an awesome polyester braided fabric, so your cables don't get as tangled.

With seven programmable buttons and super comfortable rubberised grip, the mouse could be used for many hours of awesome gaming.

I particularly liked the scroll wheel, which moves quickly but has that satisfying feeling as your scroll along with a rubber finish.

In the Windows driver you can also adjust the different LED backlits to almost any colour. This backlighting can also be responsive to the game you're playing, adding to the immersive gaming experience.

In the same software you can also choose between 500 and 3,000 DPI for the optical sensor underneath. You can switch between different DPI values with a simple click on a special button on the mouse.

With all these amazing customisations and settings on the mouse comes onboard memory, so you can save your settings regardless of the computer. This feature is awesome if you take your mouse to use on a friend's gaming PC.

The same manufacturer Rapoo also sells the mouse in a keyboard and mouse set, which is worth checking out. If you're going to light up your gaming PC accessories, I'd recommend the full kit.

The mouse is amazing; super cool customisable options and totally comfortable. It comes highly recommended.

The set is available at leading technology retailers and Mighty Ape nationwide, at RRP of $49.
