FYI, this story is more than a year old

NetSuite has appointed Graeme Burt as its channel sales director for Asia Pacific and Japan as it looks to drive increased channel activity across the region.

Burt, a former Salesforce.com, Oracle and SAP sales executive, is charged with accelerating channel sales throughout the region and deepening the vendor's relationships with solution provider partners and distributors across the region.

He will also be responsible for establishing best practices and providing strategic operational leadership for NetSuite's channel.

Lee Thompson, NetSuite senior vice president and Asia Pacific and Japan general manager, says the company is investing ‘heavily' in the channel in APJ to better support partners in the region.

Burt, who will be based in Sydney, says the NetSuite Solution Provider Program is ‘widely recognised as the industry's leading cloud channel partner program.

The program was launched in 2002 and is designed to help solution providers transform their business model to fully capitalise on the revenue growth opportunity of the NetSuite cloud.

“Our growing partner base continues to move away from outdated on-premise solutions and embrace NetSuite's modern cloud-based business management suite,” Burt says.
