Synnex expands portfolio with new ANZ distribution partnership

Synnex Australia has entered into a partnership with consumer transactions technology vendor, NCR. Under the agreement, Synnex Australia become a point-of-sale (POS) specialist distributor of NCR solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

As part of the new arrangement, Synnex has distribution rights for NCR's hospitality hardware line of products including the RealPOS Series and accessories.

Ahmmad Issa, Synnex national commercial sales manager, says, “NCR represents an incremental addition to Synnex's business. The partnership is in line with our strategy to tap into a market that we couldn't service before.

“Synnex has capacity and a diverse sales team complemented by the recent signing of MYOB via our Synnex Cloud Portal, which means signing with NCR couldn't have come at a better time.”

This partnership with NCR lets Synnex provide top of the range ‘fit-for-purpose' hardware and software to the reseller industry, according to the company. Synnex resellers and their customers can add a new line of business to their offering, and solidify existing end client partnerships through the addition of POS and data capture technology.

Synnex says it will work to develop opportunities with existing common partners, third party suppliers, and end customers, while also expanding the NCR offering to new resellers and end customers.
