Datacom has received the 2019 Dell Technologies Global Alliances Technical Excellence Partner of the Year Award.

This global award recognises Datacom's technical excellence in achieving great results for customers while leveraging Dell Technologies.

The award was presented to Datacom at the Dell Technologies 2019 Global Partner Summit in Las Vegas, USA.

The award recognises Datacom's technical leadership in a number of areas including creating new solutions using Dell Technologies All Flash storage arrays, some pioneering work with Microsoft Azure Stack on Dell VxRACK Azure Stack, and software deployments with Dell Boomi integration solutions.

“Dell Technologies and Datacom have established a solid, long-standing partnership to deliver innovative solutions to customers whilst supporting their digital transformation journeys,” says Dell Technologies APJ cloud service providers general manager Phill Patton.

“We would like to thank Datacom for consistently demonstrating a high level of technical expertise of Dell Technologies' offerings, and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.

“This award is recognition for all the great work occurring across our Cloud and Professional Services teams working with Dell Technologies,” adds Datacom ANZ public sector managing director Mark Muru.

“We have a long-standing and close relationship with Dell Technologies where the solutions we jointly create and continue to evolve are delivering business value to our customers on a daily basis.

Datacom is using the new All Flash storage arrays, delivered from 100% flash or solid-state storage, to provide its cloud customers with a cost-effective and high-performance experience.

Datacom also partnered closely with Dell Technologies to develop Datacom's industry-leading Azure Stack solution.

Azure Stack simplifies IT strategy by extending the power of Azure into local Data Centers or disconnected environments.

This provides a consistent hybrid or multi-cloud solution to accelerate digital transformation for Datacom customers.
