Cyber-security solutions provider Sourcefire has today announced increased momentum of partners and distributors throughout Australia and New Zealand, and the wider Asia Pacific region.

Selecting Sourcefire as partner of choice, the recent appointment of WhiteGold Solutions as a distributor in ANZ is among the key milestones that have contributed to the company’s growing partner footprint throughout the region.

As a security specialist and the first Unified Value Distributor in the region, the company says WhiteGold Solutions offers extensive technical expertise, channel marketing capabilities and has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland.

“Sourcefire’s success in building a strong partner ecosystem is a testament to the innovation that is enabling customers to adopt a threat-centric security model,” says Chris Wood, regional director, Sourcefire Asia Pacific.

“Even the most security diligent organisations are recognising that attacks are no longer an ‘if’ but a ‘when.’

"Technology and business leaders do not need to accept defeat, but they do need to accept that the game has changed. All our partners, such as the recently appointed WhiteGold Solutions, share this strategic approach to security.”

Across Asia Pacific, Sourcefire has appointed several new distributors and partners to promote, market and distribute the company’s Agile Security solutions.

The milestones include an established distribution agreement with M.Tech in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, along with iValue Solutions as a Value Added Distributor (VAD) in India.
