FYI, this story is more than a year old

At its annual Partner Awards ceremony during SAS Global Forum, SAS recognised the collaboration, innovation and contributions of its valued alliance community.

SAS VP of global alliances Helen Morin says, “Our partners bring our software to life, creating innovative new applications to solve business problems, guiding our customers through deployment, and helping them get the most out of SAS for all of their analytics needs.

“We congratulate all of our 2019 award winners and look forward to the continued partnership with them on projects that help transform the world.

A robust partner community is critical to address the growing customer demand for evolving analytics solutions and delivery models.

This is underscored by an increasing need for cloud solutions by midmarket customers with a desire to purchase through trusted local partners.

SAS' strong partner program of consulting firms, resellers, OEMs and managed analytic service providers continues to help customers implement SAS technology in the way that best fits their individual needs to solve their most complex business problems.

The following partners were honoured:

Global Partner of the Year – Accord Business Group

Accord Business Group is headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and has branches in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

A SAS Silver partner, Accord provides professional services, outsourcing and software development support for a variety of SAS solutions, including advanced analytics, fraud, customer experience and data management.

Accord also works closely with SAS on Data for Good initiatives in the region, including work with the Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi.

Channel Partner of the Year – ITOCHU Techno-Solutions

This is the second consecutive year that Japanese systems integrator ITOCHU Techno-Solutions has been named SAS Channel Partner of the Year.

A SAS Gold partner, ITOCHU has helped expand SAS' presence in the manufacturing, utility and life science industries while leading significant deals with dozens of top-tier Japanese customers.

Excellence in Innovation – FACTS Consulting

FACTS Consulting is a Gold Partner based in South Africa providing cyber forensics, information security training and services, and data analytics services in the private and public sectors.

SAS awarded FACTS with the Excellence in Innovation award for its development of a SAS based fraud framework solution for procurement integrity, based on years of local and international procurement fraud investigative experience.
