13 massive changes at Techday this year

01 Jul 15

WOW, what an incredibly good year this has been for Techday and the team.

So much has happened, I wanted to fill you in:

We moved from a single site on Techday.com to a network of individual sites to better target readers for advertisers.

  • We’ve rebranded three sites:

    • Start-Up has been renamed bizEDGE to recognise that businesses of all sizes are using technologies like cloud, mobility and big data to transform their operations and industries.

    • The Channel has been renamed ChannelLife to match our new Australian news site.

    • Educate has been renamed Educators to clarify to advertisers that our focus is on ICT teachers, principals and deputy principals - not the students.

  • We’ve launched five new sites:

  • We also recently entered the Australian market and now have more than 9,500 email newsletter subscribers on our ChannelLife website.

  • Also we've made the massive change and now sell our advertising on a guaranteed cost per thousand model not the older tenancy model.

  • Our team has grown, with five new team members joining in the last five months and we’re hiring three more in the coming months. Meet the full team here.

Our change to being a digital only business in February has been startling. It’s amazing how fast we can move now. It really is exciting to come to work everyday.

Our network now has 12 websites and plans are under way for more sites in new geographies soon. We have ambitions to be the biggest and best tech news network in Asia Pacific.

There has never been a better time to try our ROI focused marketing solutions.
