The coalition to stop the GCSB bill received an 89% approval rate in Auckland last night, led by Mega founder Kim Dotcom.

With a packed audience of around 1,000 people in the city's Town Hall, the majority turned up to express their concerns about the government's spying legislation.

The bill, expected to go through its final stages in Parliament this week, has been widely opposed by many in New Zealand, chiefly Dotcom, who explained why in his speech below:

In typical Dotcom fashion however, not content with making his point, the internet mogul let rip at the remaining 11% of Kiwis who agreed with Prime Minister John Key and his government, tweeting:
