Acronis introduces free deduplication offer

02 Feb 10

As part of an effort to help businesses reduce storage costs, Acronis announced that customers who purchase the company’s backup and recovery software will receive the accompanying deduplication solution for free.

There have been more than 22,000 installations of Acronis deduplication technology and Acronis has created a free online calculator for customers wanting to calculate potential savings from deduplication.

“By integrating data deduplication into the backup process, Acronis brings deduplication benefits to organisations,” said Simon Howe, Acronis ANZ Country Manager. “Customers can benefit from storage cost savings without any additional hardware investment or management overhead.”

The offer is valid for customers purchasing Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 software and will be offered until March 31st.
