The software supports Windows 7, Vista, XP Home and XP Professional operating systems.Bill Taylor-Mountford, General Manager of Acronis ANZ said: “With more and more people using netbooks for convenience on the go, backing up netbooks becomes a necessity. As backup experts, we understand that netbook backups require the same level of reliability and flexibility as normal PCs, they also have unique requirements due to the hardware limitations.”He added: “By delivering the first-ever netbook-optimised backup and recovery software, Acronis is continuing its pledge to develop industry-leading solutions.”The software can currently be downloaded from the company’s Australian site and is priced at AUS $39.99. Another announcement about its general availability in New Zealand will be made in the future.
