AVG launches reseller promo

31 May 2010

The promo aims to give AVG resellers the opportunity to help customers match their exposure levels to online threats with the most appropriate level of internet security.

Dubbed the ‘Make the Match’ promotion, when a business client buys AVG Internet Security Business Edition, AVG (AU/NZ) will provide a free copy of its AVG Internet Security suite for use at home by every employee covered under the business license.

The promotion runs until the end of July 2010.

Michael Dowling, Corporate Sales Director, AVG (AU/NZ), said: “This ‘Make the Match’ promotion is a great offer to help our resellers market to new SMB clients, while preserving full margins.  Plus it provides extra exposure to AVG home users and the potential to grow that area too.”

The promotion has a revenue flow-on effect as resellers will have the opportunity to sell AVG renewals to an extended client base of home users in 12 months’ time.
