Yesterday’s inferno may have left Corporate Consumables’ Mt Wellington office in a state of ruin, but today it’s business as usual.The fire broke out at the premises at 5 Fisher Crescent at approximately 4pm on Tuesday afternoon, engulfing the building for the next two hours, before fire fighters managed to get the blaze under control. But despite the disaster, an email sent out to company clients this morning highlights that Corporate Consumables will continue to operate as usual.The company will be resorting to a recovery plan, with the Wellington and Christchurch offices taking up the Auckland office’s workload, while the Mt Wellington sales team will move to the company’s North Shore location in Auckland. But with other resellers, who wish to remain nameless, reporting an increase in sales this morning - which they directly linked to the disaster, it seems that it won’t just be business as usual. Corporate Consumables declined the opportunity to comment.
