Connector Systems will distribute Aspen Optics fibre connectivity products and Geebic-branded optical transceivers in New Zealand.

It’s claimed that the range of optical modules can provide savings of 30% – 90% compared to similar devices from the likes of Cisco, HP, Juniper and Nortel.

Aspen Optics product line includes MetroBlazer switches, concentrator and media converters, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre channel and 10Gbit Geebic branded optical transceivers.

Connector Systems recently signed a distribution deal with SmartOptics and Sanyo Security for New Zealand.
