The firm has announced that it has become the exclusive Xiotech distributor for New Zealand.

Dave Rosenberg, Managing Director at Datastor, said, “Xiotech’s unique five-year warranty, coupled with technology that fully optimises storage capacity, makes ISE an ideal addition to our storage and virtualisation portfolio. As the exclusive Xiotech distributor, we are able to offer enterprises a best-practices approach to consolidating their server infrastructure while maximizing business value from their virtualisation deployments.”

Brian Reagan, Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development at Xiotech, added, “Datastor has a history of bringing innovative technologies to market, and an established reputation for serving as a trusted advisor to both partners and customers. Partnering with Datastor underscores Xiotech’s mission to provide the highest-performing and most reliable, scalable and manageable back-end storage that supports enterprises’ data protection and disaster recovery initiatives.”

Speaking to The Channel earlier this month, Westcon CEO Dean Douglas explained the company’s plan to make Datastor the number one distributor in New Zealand.
