Datastor wins Symantec award

The distributor has been recognised as a leading channel partner at Symantec's Inaugural APJ Partner Conference 2010.

Datastor, who picked up the Symantec Distributor of the Year Award for the Asia
Pacific and Japan regions, said that it was recognised for its dedication and commitment to selling Symantec's security solutions, as well as its overall performance in revenue, deal registration, technical and marketing investments, and certifications.

“The Symantec Partner Awards acknowledge our partners who continue investing in Symantec to help provide customers with the highest quality service,” said David Dzienciol, Vice President, SMB & Channels, Symantec, Asia Pacific and Japan region. “The inaugural APJ Partner Awards demonstrate Symantec’s commitment to the channel community and recognise those partners that have delivered innovative solutions and exceptional customer service in this region.”

Dave Rosenberg, Managing Director, Datastor NZ Ltd, added, “This is a fantastic achievement for Datastor and the Symantec team. It reflects over ten years of consistent partnership and true value.  It is also a huge achievement given the size of the New Zealand market to win an award for the whole of APJ. Thank you to all of our partners for the support you have shown us and for helping to make this achievement possible."
