Dicker Data NZ top Citrix distributor for ANZ

19 May 17

Dicker Data New Zealand has taken out Citrix’s ANZ Distributor of the Year award, with the distributor now actively recruiting new partners for the vendor’s CSP offerings.

Dicker Data picked up the ANZ Distributor of the Year award at the vendor’s recent Asia Pacific and Japan Partner Conference in Thailand.

Lou Nunn, Dicker Data software/cloud business unit manager, says the distributor – which was awarded the sole distribution contract for Citrix CSP licenses last year and is the sole New Zealand CSA distributor – has seen strong growth from the Citrix brand.

“We have been distributing Citrix since 1998,” Nunn says.

“[Citrix product manager] Jenny has been involved in the Citrix business for the last 14 years. Our company has effectively been growing up with Citrix in New Zealand and we are absolutely delighted to win this award.”

Nunn attributed the win in part the strong Citrix team – including Dicker Data and Citrix staff and the Kiwi reseller channel. He notes that Citrix New Zealand channel manager Russell Andrews won the Citrix ANZ Channel Person of the Year for 2016.

“Without a doubt, having the best people running our Citrix business has helped us to secure this award – this wouldn't have been possible without our long standing Citrix partners in New Zealand,” Nunn says.

“As Citrix accelerate their cloud transformation, our objective is to broaden our partner ecosystem by leading with Citrix CSP whilst leveraging our Microsoft market leadership,” he says, adding that the distributor is actively recruiting new Citrix CSP partners.

The distributor has seen double digit growth and has just hired Royden Burt as the Citrix CSP technical lead to support partner enablement requirements.
