FYI, this story is more than a year old

Dimension Data has launched a dedicated Apple practice and managed mobility services for iOS to help companies securely integrate and manage corporate apps and data across Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch.

The service build on Dimension Data's longstanding partnership with Cisco, with Dimension Data planning Centres of Excellence to showcase Apple products and demonstrate Apple and Cisco solutions while highlighting how Apple products can be managed and maintained through Dimension Data's offerings.

The dedicated Apple practice will focus on delivering strategic consulting, implementation, full management and support for a range of enterprise solutions, including Cisco video and collaboration solutions on iOS.

Cisco and Apple have been collaborating on app and voice offerings for iPhone and iPad on corporate networks.

Joe Manuele, Dimension Data group executive, customer experience and collaboration, says “We understand that our clients need a strategic approach to mobility – one that merges the world's best user experience through Apple devices with full enterprise capabilities.

“As a global systems integration partner for Apple, our services and dedicated practice will free companies from integration and management complexities so they can focus on their business and unleash the full potential of the mobile enterprise.

The company says the Apple practice will include a worldwide team of network and systems engineers, along with client service and support teams, and will have guidance and support from Apple's experts.
