FrontRange Solutions is advising those planning to switch to Windows 7 to plan thoroughly in order to avoid unnecessary delays and costs.

As many businesses aren’t planning to roll out Windows 7 until next year, Vice President for FrontRange Solutions Asia Pacific John O’Brien said, “It’s tempting to think that, as the business is not upgrading to Windows 7 for at least a year, it’s not something to worry about today.”

But Gartner recommends that most organisations will need at least 12 months to prepare in order to plan for changes to the legacy infrastructure and other potential system issues.
