Enlogic has appointed RackPower as its first distributor in New Zealand, giving the company exclusive rights to sell Enlogic’s fourth generation range of intelligent Power Distribution Units (PDUs) across the country.

Designed to help local businesses to simplify rack energy management in the data center, RackPower managing director Peter Martens says the partnership will enable the company to provide a more customer centric solution to Kiwis.

The Enlogic energy metering PDU sits within the rack actively monitoring the data center environment, searching for threats from electrical circuit overloads, and any physical and environmental conditions which might place critical IT computing loads at risk.

Helping to identify energy utilisation and wastage, the solutions also aims to reduce downtime and simplify rack management.
