Exclusive Networks names Bennett Wong to lead APAC expansion
Exclusive Networks has appointed Bennett Wong as Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific region as the company seeks to accelerate its go-to-market expansion and revenue growth strategy.
Wong brings more than 25 years of regional leadership experience in technology distribution, including managing multi-country transformations, driving regional integrations, and building high-performing teams. He will now lead Exclusive Networks' next phase of growth across what the company describes as one of the most strategically important and complex markets.
Complex cybersecurity landscape
The Asia Pacific (APAC) region is recognised for its unique cybersecurity environment, where organisations face a combination of sophisticated threats targeting critical infrastructure and supply chains. This is compounded by the region's diverse market maturity and fragmented regulatory landscape. Exclusive Networks highlights its reliance on localised expertise, supported by established on-the-ground teams, to assist partners and customers in managing these evolving threats and compliance requirements.
As the technology landscape in APAC shifts towards artificial intelligence, edge computing, hybrid cloud environments, and modern data centres, the demand for comprehensive cyber defence capabilities continues to increase. At the same time, a shortage of skilled cybersecurity talent across the region remains a significant challenge for businesses seeking to implement and manage security solutions effectively.
Wong addressed these challenges, stating, "From AI adoption and edge computing to hybrid cloud and modern data centres, businesses across Asia Pacific are modernizing existing applications and rolling out new digital services to accelerate digital transformation, while needing to ensure cyber resiliency and security in a rapidly evolving landscape. Our partners and vendors are looking for a distributor that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution."
He continued, "Ultimately, we are go-to-market specialists, uniquely positioned to help our brands, some of the biggest security companies in the world, accelerate their products to market faster. My prime focus is to strengthen our vendor and partner ecosystems, scale our services capability, and help customers adopt cybersecurity at pace and with confidence."
Strategic priorities
In his new role, Wong intends to prioritise the expansion of Exclusive Networks' services offering, working with vendors to bring emerging technologies to market more rapidly and enhancing partner capabilities in key markets throughout the region.
Wong's broader strategy is built around three key pillars: elevating operational excellence in the company's existing markets, developing solution capabilities that set Exclusive Networks apart from competitors, and delivering a consistent customer experience and platform, with wide market coverage and support for both vendors and partners.
Roman Tuma, Chief Revenue Officer of Exclusive Networks, highlighted the significance of Wong's appointment.
"I'm very pleased to welcome Bennett to our leadership team. Bennett's experience in scaling regional operations and building partner ecosystems will be key as we continue to pursue our mission to be the go-to specialist for trusted digital infrastructure. I have full confidence in Bennett to build on the strong foundations and further accelerate our growth in APAC's high-growth markets."
Outlook for Exclusive Networks in APAC
Looking ahead, Exclusive Networks aims to strengthen its presence as a partner within the APAC region, which consists of both mature and emerging markets, each with distinct digitalisation trends and cybersecurity requirements. The company's approach includes expanding its technical expertise and support to partners, growing its services portfolio, and enabling customers to scale their digital operations securely. This is underscored by Exclusive Networks' combination of global vendor relationships and tailored local execution, reflecting its strategy to address diversified market needs and regulatory frameworks across APAC.
Exclusive Networks operates in more than 45 countries and serves customers in over 170 countries worldwide, offering a portfolio that spans managed security, technical accreditation, and other services in both established and emerging areas of cyber defence technology. Wong holds a BA in Business and Marketing from the University of Portsmouth, and his expertise across cloud, cybersecurity, data centre, and artificial intelligence domains is expected to support his efforts in developing Exclusive Networks' market presence in APAC.
