Exeed launches app store for resellers

09 Dec 11

IT distributor Exeed has launched a business app store for New Zealand resellers, creating a platform for partners to easily provide cloud-based applications to their customers.

The platform, called Mycloudstore, integrates eight solutions into one website, making it easy to quote and order the apps, particularly for SMBs which might not have the resources to track down the apps themselves.

Justin Tye, managing director at Exeed, says with each service provider managing their ordering and billing in different ways, having the solutions integrated into one website makes quoting and ordering simple.

"Resellers receive payment for the successful activation of a service,” Tye says, "and in many cases they will receive an annuity payment.”

The eight apps available are Xero, SMX, SmartPayroll, WorkflowMax, iBUS, Unleashed, Vend and AirWatch.

"It’s a powerful offering for resellers and it makes it very easy for them to talk to their customers about cloud-based solutions,” Tye says.

"Most of the solutions we have today are local and therefore built for New Zealand businesses.”
