Expand named a WAN 'leader' by Forrester

Forrester Research, Inc. has named Expand Networks as a market ‘leader’ in its latest WAN optimisation market research report. 


The ratings were based on current product offerings, strategy and market presence. Expand was positioned among the highest scoring vendors and earned the highest scores for management and usability as well as architecture. Tying with another vendor for appliance deployment time, Expand has a total configuration time of 66 seconds. 


In a statement, VP Corporate Sales and Marketing at Expand Networks Adam Davidson said: “Our product portfolio, technology direction and business strategy is in tune with market needs as organisations look toward next generation WAN optisation technologies, such as Expand’s, as a key enabler to many of today’s high profile IT initiatives including IT consolidation, centralisation and virtualisation.”
