Express Data New Zealand has revealed its partnership with Cisco now enables the company to distribute the Meraki solution set into the New Zealand ICT Reseller market.

In December 2012, Cisco acquired Meraki for US$1.2 billion in cash, forming Cisco’s new Cloud Networking Group.

As a result of the deal, the company offers a complete cloud managed product family including wireless LAN, Ethernet switches, security appliances, and mobile device management.

With over 20,000 customer networks deployed worldwide, Meraki is a global leader in cloud networking.

Built from the ground up, the business has received many accolades including InfoWorld.com 2012 Technology of the Year, Techworld Mobility/Wireless Product of the Year and has been listed by Gartner as a Visionary, in the Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN.
