Express Data NZ appoints Sales and Marketing GM

07 Feb 13

Express Data New Zealand has today revealed the appointment of Philip Presnall to the position of general manager of Sales and Marketing, effective immediately.

In this position, Presnall will be responsible for all sales, product management and marketing functions for the New Zealand operation.

Prior to the role, Presnall was the sales manager for the Cisco business, a position he had held for four years.

“Philip possesses in‐depth local industry knowledge from both a distribution and vendor perspective and is highly regarded among resellers, vendors and the NZ Express Data team, making him an ideal fit for this role," says David Gage, Express Data CEO.

"Philip is looking forward to the opportunity to lead and develop the business in his new position."

The company says Presnall brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to this role.

Between 1999 and 2004 Presnall held a range of positions in Express Data New Zealand; he then left to gain vendor experience, holding roles in Microsoft and Netgear, before returning to Express Data.

“I’m excited about the opportunities in what is very much a time of change in the industry," Presnall says.

"For me change represents opportunity, and I believe Express Data have the vendors, partners, and the people, capable of making the most of this opportunity."
