Hamilton SI establishes Auckland base

10 Dec 15

Hamilton systems integrator, software developer and website design company Enlighten Designs is hitting the Auckland market, with a three man team based in Newmarket.

Damon Kelly, Enlighten Designs chief executive, says about 20% of the company’s business comes from Auckland-based enterprise clients, including Air New Zealand, Genesis Energy, Maori Television, Vector, Beca and Downer.

“While Hamilton will continue to be Enlighten’s hub and the place we do a lot of the work, our Auckland space is about making sure we have the right people for our Auckland-based enterprise clients,” Kelly says.

The company has hired two new account managers for the Auckland office, which is headed up by Craig Gerken.

Kelly says with the Auckland office space established, more of Enlighten’s Hamilton-based delivery team will be making the trip to Auckland going forward.

“Our staff regularly work with clients at their sites, so with an Auckland presence we can be on-hand to achieve better collaboration between their teams and our product owners, including Microsoft who we work closely with to solve business issues for many New Zealand companies.”

Enlighten was recently named in the 2015 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific index.
