HPE crowns Kiwi channel winners in inaugural partner awards

Exeed has scooped up the Distributor of the Year award at Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s inaugural partner awards, with Cyclone Computers, Softsource, Dimension Data, Fujitsu, CodeBlue and iT360 all taking home awards.

The awards, which recognise HPE’s top performing partners and celebrate the success of the local channel in fiscal 2015, were presented at a gala event at Auckland’s Langham Hotel last night.

Fujitus New Zealand was named Aruba Growth Partner of the Year, while Cyclone Computers took out the award for FY15 Growth Partner of the Year and CodeBlue won FY15 Regional Partner of the Year.

Meanwhile, Dimension Data New Zealand was crowned FY15 Platinum Partner of the Year, with Softsource taking out FY15 Gold Partner of the Year and iT360 claiming FY15 Silver Partner of the Year.

‘Partnership first’ is a key tenet of the new Hewlett Packard Enterprise, with Keith Watson, Hewlett Packard Enterprise New Zealand managing director, recently telling ChannelLife NZ that the newly formed company was going to be ‘very good’ to its channel partners.

“We truly believe in the power of collaboration and in taking the time to build strong relationshipw with our customers, partners and our employees and we believe if our partners are successful, we will be successful,” Watson says.

The company says the awards are ‘very much’ in keepign with the company’s new strategic direction.
