FYI, this story is more than a year old

New channel initiative said to benefit resellers, integrators, developers and SaaS providers. The firm says that after listening to feedback from its customer base, it set about designing a flexible program that made ICONZ managed hosting services and in particular, the VERSA Cloud Computing service, available to partners.

“With the new program, partners can leverage our breadth and depth of experience across a wide range of managed hosting and connectivity solutions including the hugely successful VERSA Cloud Computing service” said Sean McDonald CEO of ICONZ.

The program provides varying levels of reward (percentage fees on monthly billed revenue) against increasing volumes of business.

There are two program elements, one for ‘accredited partners’ that would like all billing and support arrangements handled by ICONZ and the ‘premium partner’ program that enables partners to bill and support their customers directly but supported by ICONZ.

“As a leader in managed hosting and cloud computing, we are committed to maintaining tight bonds with our customers and partner community. We have aimed to create one of the most compelling partner programs in our industry,” added McDonald. “Virtual or ‘cloud’ hosting is a big part of the future of computing, and we’ve set up a program that allows our partner community to take advantage of this still untapped and nascent opportunity.
