Ingram Micro and Intalock Technologies have taken out key awards at Veritas' inaugural 2015 Asia Pacific and Japan Partner Awards.

The awards, held as part of the company's inaugural Veritas Asia Pacific Partner Link Conference 2015, saw Ingram Micro take out APJ Distributor of the Year, while Intalock won Pacific Partner of the Year.

The awards recognised excellence in innovation and strategic implementations of customer solutions based on Veritas' technologies and honour top performing partners who have demonstrated dedication to achieving strong business growth while positively contributing to their customers, the partner community and Veritas.

George Wong, Veritas APJ channel leader, says partners play a critical role in growing Vertias' market reach and scale across APJ.

The awards are the first for Veritas as a standalone information management company.

Mark Nutt, Veritas global head of channel says the company is energised to embark on its new journey with partners ‘who are truly invested to deliver the Veritas value proposition – that is to offer customers the unique ability to harness the power of their information'.

APJ Distributor of the Year for Backup Exec went to Networld, while APJ Global System Integrator of the Year went to Hitachi Data Systems.
