Broken computers are a thing of the past with Ingram Micro

Next Business Day support is the ability for a Surface user to have his or her Surface device replaced from a local supply held by Ingram Micro NZ.

If a hardware fault is found, Ingram will ship the user a replacement device overnight to have them back up and running with minimal downtime.

This is a significant step up on the current process which sees devices shipped from Australia.

Ingram will also offer a local, level one support centre to assist users in understanding if their issue is hardware related at all.

The enhanced support model will be available to all customers who have an extended warranty, of any variety, on their new Surface Pro device or Surface Laptop.

This will only be available to commercial customers who have purchased their device and extended warranty from commercial resellers.

Microsoft Surface Pro is the most versatile laptop on the market.

It offers uncompromised mobility, incredible power and performance and delivers the best Windows experience for users.

This improvement to the servicing model will give commercial customers, even more, confidence to begin working with Surface and unleashing their creativity while boosting productivity and security.

If you have purchased a Surface Pro or Surface Laptop with an Extended Warranty with NBD Replacement, and it is outside of the Ingram Micro 30 day DOA period, you can call 0800 024 458 or email surface@brightpoint.com with the following details:

  • Unit Model and Serial Number
  • Contact Name
  • Email Address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Business Address
  • Date of Failure
  • Description of Problem

An Ingram Micro representative will then work with you to troubleshoot and determine if there is a hardware fault.

If a hardware fault is confirmed, then an RA authorisation slip will be emailed and a replacement unit will be dispatched from their warehouse with a return courier label.

All replacement orders keyed by 1 PM NZST, Monday through Friday, will be dispatched for next business day delivery.

Purchasing a Microsoft Surface Extended Warranty with Next Business Day delivery ensures peace of mind with your next Surface Pro or Surface Laptop purchase.
