Soft Solutions has become Kroll Ontrack’s New Zealand distributor for a range of data recovery solutions.

Aaron Bhashkar, Brands Manager at Soft Solutions, said, “Kroll Ontrack solutions give customers the ability to recover their data by accidental deletion or even if corruption has occurred. PowerControls allow customers to find and restore an individual email or folder item from a backup file.”

Soft Solutions considers itself a business continuity specialists and sees Kroll Ontrack products as complimentary to its current offerings.

Bhashkar, added, “These solutions offer a truly unique value for money proposition when needing to recover important proposals or documents that may have been deleted.”

Speaking to The Channel today, Bhashkar said, "We are always looking at new vendor opportunities that suit the New Zealand marketplace and support other vendors we represent; our relationship with Kroll Ontrack certainly fits that mold."

The firm is also seeing success in other solutions from its business continuity portfolio. Bhashkar said this "includes StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect, and Soft Solutions’ own appliance known as the Business Continuity Appliance (BCA), a vendor independent Image Repository and Recovery Environment in which a failed server can rapidly be put back in production in a virtual environment while the failed hardware is repaired or replaced."
