Kroll Ontrack will now offer Blancco's marketing suite of erasure software to corporations, refurbishing companies and government entities.

A data erasure and computer reuse solutions provider, Blancco is recognised as a "proven data erasure solution for millions of users around the globe."

Forming an end-to-end data erasure solution that combines erasure software from Blancco with degausser technology and erasure services from Kroll Ontrack, the solution enables customers to work with one point of contact for all their data erasure needs.

“Blancco is pleased to align with a technology leader like Kroll Ontrack, as we both recognise the importance of keeping pace with evolving technologies and forming business relationships with trusted partners,” says Kim Väisänen, managing director, Blancco.

“Not only is this alliance mutually beneficial for our companies, but it benefits customers around the world who value data privacy and security.

"We are excited that Blancco’s wide-ranging data erasure solutions will be available as valued tools for Kroll Ontrack customers.”

Specifically, Blancco solutions now available through Kroll Ontrack include: Blancco 5 for servers, laptops and PCs; Blancco Mobile for smartphones and tablets; and Blancco File and LUN for selective data erasure.

Also, Blancco erasure products are now supported by Kroll Ontrack services.

These services include onsite or remote erasure, technical support from Kroll Ontrack engineers that are certified to support Blancco solutions, and Kroll Ontrack’s independent evaluation and analysis and that verifies no data can be recovered from the storage device - even by experts.
