LogRhythm on hunt for local partners
Tue, 13th May 2014
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Security intelligence company LogRhythm is on the lookout for ‘security focused partners’ as the company launches an ANZ presence.

Simon Howe, previously sales director for mobility solutions at Acronis, has been appointed ANZ director of sales, responsible for developing a local channel.

Howe has previously worked with CommVault and Symantec, and has more than 15 years experience in ‘high profile, tier one software vendors’.

He says LogRhythm is now recruiting security focused partners and those with vertical specialisations, and plans to build its ANZ base from foundation customers, such as Australia’s Tatts Group, across government, manufacturing, mining, education and business via a pure channel strategy.

“We have a 100% channel focused business model and an extensive support programme that includes technical and sales accreditations,” Howe says

He says organisations are realising breaches are ‘inevitable’.

“As such, they are looking for solutions that can help them substantially improve their ability to detect and respond to threats and breaches sooner.

“Today, LogRhythm’s Security Intelligence Platform delivers that visibility to more than 1500 organisations around the globe.”

LogRhythm says its platform is a next generation technology that unifies enterprise-class security information and event management (SIEM), log management, file integrity monitoring and network and host forensics.

The company is launching its regional presence at AusCert 2014 this week.
