Malwarebytes ups MSP focus with ANZ managed service provider program

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Malwarebytes is ramping up its managed service provider push, with the launch of a local MSP program to help drive partner value and revenue opportunities.

The cybersecurity vendor says the new Australian and New Zealand MSP program is designed to increase the value MSPs deliver and includes multi-tiered pricing with ‘significant' margin opportunity.

“A pay-as-you-go model based on actual usage enables partners to avoid high upfront costs and scale in line with their business growth,” Malwarebytes says.

“At the same time Malwarebytes offers flexible deployment options with an easy to manage cloud-based management platform.

Vikas Uberoy, Malwarebytes ANZ channel director, says the cost of dealing with a malware outbreak can potentially consume the margin for MSPs working on fixed price deployments with customers.

“Malwarebytes reduces, often to zero, the amount of human effort required to clean a PC,”Uberoy says.

“By leveraging Malwarebytes remediation, service providers can reduce costs that are incurred in the event of a malware infection and preserve their margin.

He says the program, which also includes resources such as on-demand demonstrations, co-branded marketing materials and national and local networking events, will provide MSPs with the feature set and tools needed to adapt to the ever-changing demands of security.

A dedicated channel sales and marketing team will also be available to help with strategic planning.

“This program gives them the benefit of a competitive, supportive program that offers them a unique edge in addressing their markets,” Uberoy says.
