FYI, this story is more than a year old

Aerohive Networks has appointed a new ANZ country manager - four months after Peter Davison departed from the role.

Kenny Soutar, previously ANZ country manager for test and monitoring company Fluke Networks, will take over the role, which had been carried out by New Zealand country manager Rhys Taylor since Davison's departure.

The company has also appointed a new senior channel account manager for the region, in Ken Cartwright, who was previously senior sales manager at Ruckus Wireless in the UK.

Aerohive says Soutar and Cartwright will join Taylor in his efforts to grow the region and further establish Aerohive in the enterprise space.

Soutar says he sees a lot of potential in the Australian and New Zealand markets for Aerohive, especially in the enterprise, retail, education and healthcare sectors.

“Aerohive's enterprise-class products provide simplicity and flexibility in unified networking for mobile-first organisations,” Soutar says. “I'm excited to continue growing our business and pushing even more strongly into the enterprise space.

Meanwhile, Cartwright says he's looking forward to working for a company ‘dedicated to driving channel success'.

“Aerohive is continually improving its channel program, which serves as a framewok for sales of our enhanced enterprise product set.

Aerohive says the new appointments ‘are a strong market validation of Aerohive's enterprise strategy', which continues to dive significant growth for the company.
