Connector Systems has appointed Rhys Taylor to its Auckland-based sales team, effective March 1st.

Taylor is best known for his roles at Renaissance on SonicWall as well as Axon, Datacom and Telecom. As Business Development Manager he will be responsible for helping grow Connector’s reseller business with the SonicWall, Motorola and Brocade brands.

Smartphone manufacturer HTC has named Jeremy Matthews as its Marketing Director for HTC ANZ.

IT firm Acronis has announced the appointment of Karl Sice as General Manager – Pacific.

Sice will be responsible for go-to-market strategies, as well as maintaining Acronis’ position in the SMB marketplace across Australia, New Zealand and the regional island nations. Sice comes from sales and services roles in Gartner, Sun, American Express and Dell.
