New Interactive Intelligence hire drives social media channel push

Global provider of software and services Interactive Intelligence has appointed Carl Price as Marketing Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

Based in Sydney, Price will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, supporting sales lead management, managing partner and alliance marketing and working closely with the company’s new professional services team to strengthen overall customer experience management.

“Price is an accomplished senior marketer with a passion for creating and executing sales focused marketing strategies," says Brendan Maree, Vice President, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Interactive Intelligence.

Price has ten years’ management experience in marketing and sales management during which time he has managed end-to-end marketing programs and vendor acquisition campaigns for companies across the contact centre technology, cloud computing, Big Data and IT security sectors.

Price was previously Inbound Sales and Analytics Director for Australia and New Zealand at IQPC, a global media and events company specialising in B2B conferences and seminars.

In this role, Price headed up the company’s online and social media channels and held responsibility for managing the organisation’s inbound sales and analytics divisions. In addition, he was also responsible for generating revenue, managing budgets and consulting on the company’s annual marketing plan.
