Nokia introduces an addition to the Lumia smartphone family

Nokia is extending its Nokia Lumia range with the introduction of the Nokia Lumia 610 to the New Zealand market.

The Nokia Lumia 610 provides easy access to social networks, web browsing, music, games, navigation and tens of thousands of apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace, offering the rich social, web and entertainment experience Nokia Lumia smartphones are becoming known for.

The Nokia Lumia 610 also comes with a full suite of Microsoft office applications, and its low price point makes it perfect for people seeking an affordable entry point into Windows Phone.

“We are seeing real momentum for our Nokia Lumia smartphones among consumers and business users, as well as increasing developer interest and exponential growth in our ecosystem,” says Nokia Australia and New Zealand's sales director, Steve Lewis.

With a distinctive profile and finely bevelled metallic edges, the Nokia Lumia 610 is available in black for NZ$449, exclusively from Vodafone.

LG's L-Style Design Series: LG Optimus L3

The LG Optimus L3 is the first model from the LG L-Style design series starting this year, which is aimed at fashion-forward consumers who are keen to express their taste and style through their mobile devices.

The LG Optimus L3 combines practicality and style with the five elements of L-Style: Modern Square Style, Harmonized Design Contrast, Floating Mass Technology, Seamless Layout and Sensuous Slim Shape.

This latest compact smartphone boasts a 3.2-inch display and 1500mAh battery, which means it's a great “on-the-go” socializing option, and with its metallic accents it looks pretty cool too.

“The sophisticated Optimus L3 offers a lot of smartphone at a very competitive price. There's no doubt the Optimus L3 will make you stand out from the crowd, and on our 100% 3G smartphone network, it'll perform just as well as it looks,” says Telecom Chief Marketing Officer, Jason Paris.

The LG Optimus L3 is available only through Telecom, RRP $229.
