Nimble Storage brings on new channel manager for ANZ region

Nimble Storage, the flash storage solutions company, has welcomed a new senior channel development manager for the Australia and New Zealand region.

Based in Melbourne, Cath Gentile will be responsible for developing and maturing the Nimble Storage channel in line with the company's growth strategies across Australia and New Zealand. At the same time, she will be responsible for creating new partner opportunities and programmes for the enterprise and cloud service provider markets.

Gentile has more than 20 years' experience in the IT and telecommunications industry with a focus on enterprise software and services, infrastructure, virtualisation, mobility and cloud solutions.

Gentile joins Nimble Storage from Citrix, where she was responsible for leading the global and local system integrator business. In this position, she co-developed partner and Citrix centric services and solutions and successfully transformed the system integrator business from a single product sales model to a multi-product and services business.

Previously, Gentile was Southern Region sales manager at Westcon. Prior roles include channel manager at HP and business development manager at Optus, where she was responsible for launching a new Application Service Provider offering.
