FYI, this story is more than a year old

Application aware storage producer Tintri has reached an Australian and New Zealand agreement with Observatory Crest to distribute its application-aware storage solution in the region.

According to Observatory Crest, Tintri was chosen both for its "unique technology and its strong growth to date in the ANZ market."

“We see Tintri as a key ecosystem partner in the virtualisation IT segment,” says Jack Sabo, Director, Observatory Crest.

“As a leading value-added distributor for innovative technologies, it was important for us to select a storage solution capable of supporting virtualisation projects of all kinds.

"Tintri has developed an impressive product and we believe that it will be extremely well-received by customers seeking to broaden their virtual deployments.”

By providing dedicated sales and marketing resources with in-depth product knowledge, Observatory Crest is charged with introducing Tintri storage solutions to hundreds of value-added resellers in the region and providing the necessary assistance to help these resellers grow their Tintri business.

“We’ve invested heavily in the ANZ market since day one and we’re pleased to see our efforts pay off in the form of this significant partnership,” adds Peter Molloy, Tintri Vice President of APAC Sales.

“Observatory Crest will open the door to a number of new opportunities for us and we welcome the chance it provides to expand the market for Smart Storage.

"Observatory Crest has a strong team in the region, and we look forward to kicking off what promises to be a long and fruitful partnership with them.”
