Microsoft has rolled out Office Web Apps in a further 15 countries around the world, including New Zealand, bringing the total number of countries it’s now available in to 26.

“So what does this mean for the 15 new countries? It means that, starting today, people in these countries can use the Web Apps to view, edit, and share Office documents from anywhere with a browser and an internet connection. This includes viewing, editing, and sharing Office document attachments in Hotmail,” explained Microsoft Marketing Manager Jevon Fark.

Back in September Microsoft said that in just over 100 days since Web Apps went live, more than 20 million people used Office Web Apps.
