One DLP solution to rule them all

12 Jul 10

Blue Coat Systems has released a data loss prevention set of appliances that it says offers data loss protection in a single integrated appliance.

"The Blue Coat DLP appliances provide a no compromise approach to data loss protection that supports enterprise-class DLP functionality in an easy-to-deploy solution," said Jonathan Andresen, Director, Product Marketing Asia-Pacific, Blue Coat Systems.

"By extending the Blue Coat Secure Web Gateway solution to include our new DLP appliances, we now provide our customers with layered, comprehensive security that prevents malicious content from entering the network and sensitive content from leaving the network."

Andresen was recently in New Zealand for meetings with Datastor and other resellers.

The new appliances ship in three models and are aimed at up to 250, 5,000 and 20,000 users, respectively.
