Oracle unveils AI Data Platform with partners investing USD $1.5bn

Wed, 15th Oct 2025

Oracle has announced the general availability of its AI Data Platform, which aims to help customers securely integrate generative AI models with their enterprise data, applications, and workflows.

According to Oracle, the new platform combines automated data ingestion, semantic enrichment, and vector indexing with integrated generative AI tools, supporting users from raw data through to production-grade AI deployments. The platform unifies data and AI workflows to increase efficiency for business users, developers, and data teams, and integrates NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure, offering access to the latest GPUs and libraries for high-performance workloads.

Explaining the motivation behind the launch, T.K. Anand, Executive Vice President at Oracle, said:

"Oracle AI Data Platform enables customers to get their data ready for AI and then leverage AI to transform every business process. By unifying data and simplifying the entire AI lifecycle, Oracle AI Data Platform is the most comprehensive foundation for enterprises seeking to harness the power of AI with confidence, security, and agility."

The platform is designed to support the creation of data lakehouses using open formats such as Delta Lake and Iceberg, helping reduce data duplication. It includes a data and AI catalog for governance and a unified view across assets, aimed at maintaining compliance and trust. Open standards, including Agent2Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP), are supported for wider compatibility, and business users can access Agent Hub to manage and interact with AI agents and recommendations.

Platform capabilities

Oracle outlined that customers using the AI Data Platform can transform data into intelligence by unifying analytics and AI in a single platform, speeding collaboration across teams working on AI-powered applications. Automation features allow organisations to orchestrate workflows, trigger alerts, and introduce efficiencies aimed at enhancing business outcomes.

The platform is integrated with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous AI Database, and OCI Generative AI service. Through its Zero-ETL and Zero Copy capabilities, it enables seamless connection to business application data and supports hybrid and multicloud orchestration. AI agents within the platform can operate across both Oracle and third-party environments, offering scalability for AI-driven initiatives.

For customers using Oracle application suites such as Fusion or NetSuite, as well as those in health, consumer, financial services, and construction sectors, Oracle plans to offer dedicated versions of the platform with prebuilt integration. AI-ready and enriched data from Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence is also accessible within the platform for business users.

Partner investment

Global systems integrators and consultancies have committed a collective investment of over USD $1.5 billion in Oracle AI Data Platform. This encompasses the training of more than 8,000 practitioners and the creation of over 100 industry-specific use cases.

Several partners have commented on the announcement and their participation in the rollout of the AI Data Platform. Lan Guan, Chief AI and Data Officer at Accenture, said:
