Software AG has appointed Greg Taylor as new ANZ vice-president, tasked with delivering sustainable, profitable and dynamic growth in the region.

Following 15 years with Oracle, Software AG says Taylor’s role will see him contributing to doubling the company’s global objectives by 2015 while helping customers achieve faster business results.

Taylor’s experience in the middleware market spans ten years where he held a number of senior roles at Oracle including Fusion Middleware, ANZ vice-president and general manager.

“I am particularly excited with the capability the company delivers to senior business leaders, bridging the gap between IT and the business,” says Taylor.

“Clients, such as large government entities, commend the company in ensuring investments made deliver real value back to the client.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me and I’m looking forward leading the growth charge in Australia and New Zealand.”
