Dicker Data has taken out Aruba's top distributor award for Asia Pacific at the vendor's APAC Atmosphere 2017 Partner Awards, where the distributor was also named Australian Distributor of the Year.

Ingram Micro won the accolade for New Zealand Distributor of the Year.

Aruba says Dicker Data is leading the market ‘not only in South Pacific, but also all of Asia Pacific'.

“They have developed and delivered some excellent partner development initiatives including demand creation, training, new product launches and cross selling with complementary ecosystems partner solutions,” Aruba says.

The awards, presented at Atmosphere in Macau recently, also saw New South Wales' specialist network integrator, Matrix CNI, picking up the overall Partner of the Year award for Australia, with Aruba lauding the company's significant growth, achieved via a number of new name accounts in the education and healthcare markets.

Thomas Duryea Logicalis was named Australian Growth Partner of the Year on the back of ‘roaring success and substantial year on year growth'.

Aruba says major logo wins have occurred within Victoria's corporate and local government segments and the company is continuing to expand and dominate in growth markets including aged care and not-for-profit.

Datacom South Island took out the New Zealand Partner of the Year category.

Aruba also presented regional awards to Taiwan's Kinmax Technology, which was named APAC Partner of the Year and India's Swan Soluitons - Services, which won the APAC Security Partner award.

On the distributor front, Savex Technologies was named India's Distributor of the Year, with Daiwabo Information System winning the award for Japan, and Dkunc taking it out for Korea.

Taiwan's JJnet International was named Southeast Asia and Taiwan's Distributor of the Year, with Malaysia's TechData Systems second in the category.
