Renaissance has announced that Guy McKee has been named General Manager of Apple products.

“Our Apple sales have grown significantly over the last year and we are delighted to have someone of Guy’s experience to drive our Apple business and help develop innovative solutions with our customers. Guy has worked across so many sectors of the industry: retail, the reseller channel, distribution, solution sales, consulting, engineering and services and has a proven record of delivering value to those different industries”, said Richard Webb, Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Group.

Over the past 20 years McKee has worked in a variety of roles at a variety of organisations including Statistics NZ, Lion Nathan, Fujitsu, CLEAR Communications and Telecom New Zealand.

McKee added, “I started my Apple journey in the 1980’s with a Newton MessagePad while at the same time I learned Unix on mainframes, mini systems and desktops. It’s exciting to see the device, OSX, iOS4 and Internet stories coming together in such a compelling way.”
