Renaissance gets cracked
Wed, 1st Nov 2006
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Since the announcement earlier this year of Renaissance’s appointment as a distributor of Canon IT products, the distributor has run an innovative promotion loosely themed around The Da Vinci Code movie. The so called Crack Da Canon Code promotion involved a series of cryptic clues which resellers and system integrators needed to collect and piece together. The clues were found in the distributor’s marketing, product deliveries, in the media and online. Although only a small number of resellers actually cracked all of the codes a large number participated.Congratualations to Kirsty Forsyth of MagnumMac in Christchurch who was drawn as the Holy Grail winner: she gets a week’s holiday in Paris and her choice of a $3,000 prize from either Apple or Asus. Delwyn Smedley of DigitalShop in Auckland also cracked the code and was selected to join the Knights Templar. Delwyn selected an Asus notebook as his $3,000 prize.  For a wrap up of the promotion and winners visit:http://shop.renaissance.co.nz/holygrail/
