Renaissance hires new comms manager

Joanna Burgess, an employee of HP for the past 15 years, has joined Renaissance as Communications and PR Manager.

“Previously I spent 15 years at HP in New Zealand in a variety of marketing and sales roles, the last three years as the NZ Channel Sales and Marketing manager,” Burgess told The Channel.

Prior to joining HP, Burgess spent five years in various marketing roles for computer vendors (IBM New Zealand, Groupe Bull in the UK) including product management, channel marketing, corporate marketing and managing marketing roles.

“I've been involved in communications to the media, customers, employees and the channel for many years,” Burgess added. “For me this role at Renaisssance, which is a multi-faceted business in the IT industry (distribution, retail, direct customer business, training ), works perfectly for my interests and my experience.”

Going forward Burgess will be responsible for all internal and external communications for the Renaissance Group.
