Renaissance loses Ruckus

28 Oct 10

Ruckus has chosen Connector Systems to be its sole distributor for its Smart Wi-Fi products in New Zealand.

Previously Ruckus was also available through Renaissance in a deal that was originally announced in December 2009. This this isn't the first distribution deal Renaissance has lost grip of recently.

“This is a great testament to the commitment that Connector Systems have placed in our  partnership and we value that,” said Carl Jefferys, Country Manager, Ruckus Wireless ANZ.

“We have been experiencing significant growth in our wireless business and Ruckus is leading the way,” added Mark Dasent, General Manager, Networking and Wireless at Connector Systems.

Connector Systems said it will also launch “a very appealing” channel promotion that will be offering incentives to selected partners that will include trips to the Ruckus “Big Dogs” channel event held somewhere exotic next March.
