Reseller Invite - NetApp & DC partnership launch

15 Oct 12

Distribution Central has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with NetApp to deliver its leading storage and data management solutions to the New Zealand channel.

As part of this announcement, DC and NetApp are hosting partner events in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington in November to give the NZ channel an opportunity to hear directly from them and their senior management about the partnership and how it will benefit channel partners.

Events will be held 1 November in Auckland at Soul Bar; 6 November in Christchurch at Edesia Restaurant & Bar; and 8 November in Wellington at St John’s Heineken Bar & Restaurant.

“DC has successfully delivered NetApp solutions to the Australian channel for four years and was last year appointed distributor in Singapore," said Nick Verykios, Managing Director, Distribution Central, who will be attending the Auckland event.

"We have enabled the NetApp channel through our extensive reseller support services and our goal is to extend this success to the New Zealand reseller channel."

“Distribution in New Zealand is a logical next step for both DC and also NetApp, as we can draw on our experience, resources and innovative custom-built online tools, solutions and services to better enable and support the New Zealand NetApp channel, such as our online FlexPod configurator and DC PodFactory pod configuration and staging service” said Verykios.

DC also offers NetApp’s NZ partners several cross-sell opportunities available through complementary vendors including Quantum, Cloupia, Syncsort, Riverbed and Varonis.

“Following NetApp’s success with Distribution Central in the Australian market, regional alignment with a single distributor across Australia and New Zealand was the natural next step.

We are confident that streamlining our partnership with Distribution Central regionally will further improve our ability to support the reseller channel,” said Todd Parsons, channel and marketing director, NetApp Australia and New Zealand.
